Alana's Island Events was first established in 2005 and specializes in full custom event planning and wedding design and coordination. Each and every client joins Alana's Island Events for very different reasons. What they have in common is they are busy people who understand the value of their time and don't want to spend it focusing on the overwhelming details of planning an event.
About Alana Brun

My name is Alana Brun I am very blessed to have been born and raised on the beautiful Island of Kauai. I have found many opportunities where I could serve my community through volunteering with event coordination and serve my employers by marketing their businesses. I truly enjoy working with and helping others. I am a volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Rotary Club of Kalepa Sunrise, Leadership Kauai and many more local service organizations. I have a passion for Kauai and in working with the youth of Kauai. This has culminated in my nomination as a finalist in the 2008 Governor's Volunteer Recognition Awards. This same passion and dedication is what I bring to you! Planning any event involves details, details and more details! My experience and dedication ensures that each task is completed in a timely and cost efficient manner. Organization, attention to details and responding quickly to those unexpected issues will ensure a successful event, from a small birthday party to a weekend corporate retreat
I have been working hard every day to research new and creative event design styles from all over the world and bring them back here to Kauai. I am committed to fulfilling your every expectation with creativity, professionalism and dedication. We provide complete event planning services and coordination. I want each event to be unique and truly reflect YOU!!
I spent my childhood riding around barrels at the rodeo and roping cows. I love animals and have grown to find solace in the beautiful blue ocean. I enjoy swimming and surfing with my Fiancé Darren and we are excited to teach our 6 month old daughter Aaliyah how to surf once she is old enough. I am enjoying being a new mom and finding that the greatest gift one can have is being a parent. I learn more from her everyday than I ever have anywhere else. I am fun, creative and full of life let me use my skills as an Event Designer to create an amazing event that you will never forget.

My husband and I got married August 8, 2008 on the island of Kauai. It was a small, but beautiful wedding. We had to push our plans way ahead of schedule due to an unexpected surprise....our baby that we were expecting in November. Because of this short term notice, Alana was very helpful in making our wedding stress free! Even though we live in Florida, she was very prompt in her emails and kept me posted with pictures so I felt like I was there every step of the way. She took care of all the details I wouldn't have even thought of....she even remembered to gloss up my lips for the wedding photos! Since we did not have a huge wedding and our ceremony took place in the morning, Alana set up a great luau dinner for just the two of us.....{I have been to luau's before, but this one was by far the best} we had a front row table and even a special moment set up for us to have our first dance in front of everyone....we will never forget that moment! We will not forget the memories we had. Alana made it so easy and relaxing that I would definitely use her services again for any event in the future.
